The task
With small and mid-sized manufacturers, the picture repeats itself: the stock in the spreadsheet and the stock on the floor are two different numbers, recipes and costing drift apart, and the real margin shows up at the end of the month, if it shows up at all. Everyone keeps their own notebook, file, or chat, and nobody sees the whole picture. Mekavia’s task is exactly that: to bring production, warehouse, and money into one system simple enough to be used every day.
The solution
Mekavia connects the product’s entire journey into one process: supplier, raw material, recipe, production, batch, warehouse, sale, invoice.
Costing that makes sense
Recipes and BOMs based on quantity per unit, production losses included in the numbers automatically, packaging on three levels, and labor by stage: mixing, forming, packing, quality control. Out of all this comes the number every manufacturer is looking for: the real cost of the product and the minimum selling price, with price tiers per channel.
Warehouse and batches in real time
Stock levels that match the truth on the production floor, batches with expiry dates, alerts for critical raw materials and expected deliveries. Sales are tied to the warehouse, so you never sell goods that are already gone.
The daily routine on one dashboard
Five minutes in the morning are enough: critical stock, today’s production runs, expiring batches, and sales waiting to be invoiced, all on one screen. An invoice is created with one click, and HACCP documentation runs on autopilot.
Technology and approach
We built Mekavia as a cloud SaaS from scratch: product design, data architecture, a subscription model with plans that scale with the business, and infrastructure with regular backups. The hardest part was not the code but the model: costing with recipes, losses, and multi-level packaging is a problem most off-the-shelf ERPs solve in a heavy and expensive way. That is why the system walks a new user through the setup step by step, with a live checklist on the dashboard, because an ERP nobody fills in is not an ERP.
The result
Mekavia is a live platform that grows every month: from real product costing with recipes and losses, through a plan for what to produce, to a one-click invoice. It was created for manufacturers who want order without the heavy and expensive corporate ERPs, and it grows with them, from two users and one warehouse to unlimited warehouses and custom integrations.
